Paris was my first stop actually. Never travel during crazy Christmas period (unless you are going somewhere to celebrate Christmas!). I was delayed for two frustating days at Boston, so my friends - who were already in Paris and were supposed to leave for Italy together with me - left without me. I asked them too.
